Amanda Kern, Conductor

Amanda Kern is a mother, singer, performer and music teacher with over 17 years experience in public and private education. She began her music teaching career as the Choral and Musical Theater Director at Franklin High School and then spent six years as the Middle and Upper School Music Teacher at the International School of Boston. Amanda is presently the Director of Children’s Music at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Wellesley and has conducted many choirs working with children and adults of all ages and abilities. Most recently Amanda served as Musical Director for the 2018 and 2019 Carlisle 7th-grade musical productions.  Amanda is a classically trained soprano and choirs have been a big part of her life for as long as she can remember. She has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Carolina and has completed graduate work at Boston University. She was a soloist and member of the CCC’s soprano section and felt honored to move from the back row to the conductor’s podium where she continues to share her energy, enthusiasm and experience with the Carlisle community.

Margie Sidari, Accompanist

Musically trained in her hometown of Chicago, Margie has been active as a liturgical musician and accompanist for several churches in this area for many years. She is currently a liturgical musician at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford, as well as the leader of their Adult Contemporary Choir, which sings at each 11 a.m. Sunday Mass.  She has also played for the Merrimack Valley Chorale in Chelmsford, the Savoyard Light Opera Company in Carlisle, and the Brandeis University Wind Ensemble.   Margie joined the CCC in 2019 and is very happy to be part of our choral group.
